This is a Language Paper 1 (with some Language Paper 2) (AQA) scheme of work by @mrsmdatherton/@EnglishErdAcad in which students in Y9 explore the different types of conflict (man v man, man v self, man v society and so forth) through different extracts from a range of texts (Hamlet, To Kill a Mockingbird, Dulce et Decorum Est to name a few), exposing them to ideas they will cover throughout the remainder of KS4 (rest of Y9 and Y10/11). It is the first unit completed by students in Y9.Lesson 11 and 14 are assessment lessons. Lesson 11 would be a language paper 1 section A (we generally use AQA's Y9 assessments) and Lesson 14 would be language paper 1 section B.If I have used templates/techniques/sources that are not my own, I have done my best to reference in any slide notes or through HTML links in the texts/SOW overview. If I have inadvertently included something that has not been ascribed to the original creator/owner, please notify me (twitter handle below) and I can either amend or remove. I am an avid follower of #teamenglish and #litdrive, and so if I have missed anything I would like to ensure I give credit where due, as these are both invaluable teams and I would not like to dismiss anyone else's hard work.Feedback is welcome- @mrsmdatherton or @EnglishErdAcad...
