Audio Books in Tutor Time

#1
Hi all,

I’m looking to include audio books in tutor time as part of a literacy strategy.

Does anyone do this, or know if/where schools can access audio books for free?

Thank you.

Could you possibly subscribe to audible? It’s around £6.99 a month; I use it for school & personally- it’s really useful and has almost all the texts you need.

Thank you for your replies.

Do you know if multiple teachers can listen on the same account at the same time, as it will be a whole-school strategy?

I've used Audible in class too but using my personal account. There are some audiobooks available on Youtube. I just did a search for 'audiobooks' and the first results were Benedict Cumberbatch reading 'Sherlock Holmes Rediscovered Railway Stories' and Eddie Redmayne reading 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.
